The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) 6 Hours of São Paulo, scheduled for July 11-13 at the iconic Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos), marks the fifth round of the 2025 WEC season and the fifth edition of this thrilling endurance race. Returning for its second consecutive year after a decade-long hiatus, this event promises intense racing, strategic battles, and a vibrant Brazilian atmosphere, set against the backdrop of a historic 4.309km circuit known for its challenging 15 turns and rich motorsport legacy since 1940.
The race, officially the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo, features top-tier Hypercar and LMGT3 teams, including Porsche Penske Motorsport, Toyota Gazoo Racing, Ferrari AF Corse, and newcomers like Aston Martin. With 37 entries expected, the competition is fierce, showcasing endurance racing’s golden age. The event kicks off with Free Practice sessions on July 11, followed by Qualifying and Hyperpole on July 12, and the main race starting at 11:30 AM local time on July 13.
Interlagos, a fan favorite for its anti-clockwise layout and passionate Brazilian crowds, hosts additional entertainment like pit lane walks, autograph sessions, and musical performances, including shows by Raimundos and CPM 22. Tickets start at R$358.40 for grandstand access, with premium options like the Terrace S do Senna offering exclusive amenities.
The 2024 edition saw Toyota Gazoo Racing claim victory, with Manthey PureRxcing dominating LMGT3, setting high expectations for 2025. Brazilian drivers like Nicolas Costa and Augusto Farfus add local flavor. With São Paulo secured on the WEC calendar until 2028, this race is a highlight of global motorsport, blending high-speed action with cultural celebration.
